Womens' Advocacy

Our womens' advocacy initiatives are designed to empower, coach, and mentor women, promoting gender equality and celebrating the vital role women play in society. Through events like International Women’s Day, we highlight and support women's achievements and ongoing struggles for equality.

Empowerment and advocacy for women are cornerstones of our mission at Rivers Enterprise.

Guided by Jeredyne's vision, we have initiated numerous programs aimed at supporting women in their personal and professional growth. Our efforts extend from mentoring and coaching to active participation in events like International Women's Day, highlighting the achievements and challenges of women worldwide.

We can also assist women who do not speak English as their first language, have low levels of spoken or written English language or are isolated due to their lack of communication abilities with our bespoke English for Women Programme.

We believe in creating platforms that amplify women's voices, advocate for their rights and celebrate their contributions to society.

Our work goes beyond a simple explanation, but if put briefly: we are here to be a strong, supportive friend for women, stepping up to fight alongside them whenever they need us.

"A great charity organiser that seeks for equality and fairness at all levels. Her services to us are outstanding. Her passion for struggling mums unmatched Jeredyne will always go the extra mile for every individual in their capacity. I am a beneficiary of her services and really happy for the support over the years." Sophie

"I have known Jeredyne for more than 20 years. What drew me close to her was her selflessness and passion to help others.

Jeredyne has a talent which is difficult to describe. She is the only person who can see an elephant in the room that is full of others. Once she notices an anomaly, she is quick to help.

When I first met her, I was going through some difficult immigration issues. She stood by me, walked with me through the tough terrain and helped me until I could stand on my own feet.

I witnessed her setting up a charity to work with women from ethnic minority groups. What blew my mind was her passion for the charity. Even though she was unemployed, she used her personal savings to run the charity during its infancy years.

When mist charities were closed during Covid lock down, I witnessed Jeredyne going out with the help of her son to source food from supermarkets and distributed to families who could not afford a meal. During this period, she wasn't looking at the ethnic minority, but she included everyone white, black, purple to ensure they had a meal.

Her commitment to her work amazes me. One of my family member relocated to the UK and Jeredyne reached out to help source warm clothes, bedding, pushchair for this family's children. She even assisted them with dry foods until they were settled and able to stand on their own feet. She looks out for vulnerable women and children and sign-posts them to other organisations that can assist.

Thumps up to this amazing lady."
